NVIDIA RTX A6000 Ada Lovelace now available, price and specifications

The next generation NVIDIA RTX A6000 is now available. This graphics card is designed for professional environments and fits within the series that we previously knew as Quadro. Its cooling system is of the turbine type, and it uses a hardware configuration that has been taken care of to the maximum to give the best of itself in the hands of professionals.

This graphics card uses the AD102 core, the same one that mounts the GeForce RTX 4090, but in an almost complete version. The NVIDIA RTX A6000 is configured with 18,176 shadersit has 568 texturing units, 568 specialized AI tensor cores capable of working with INT8, adds 142 RT cores for ray tracing, has a total of 96 MB of L2 cache, a 384-bit bus and has 48 GB of memory GDDR6 at 20 GHz. Its bandwidth is 960 GB/s.

It is a very powerful graphics card, of that there is no doubt. Its base speed is 915 MHz, but with turbo mode it can reach 2,505 MHz. When it reaches that peak speed, its power in FP32 is 91.06 TFLOPs. Despite its high TGP performance of the NVIDIA RTX A6000 is of only 300 watts.

The NVIDIA RTX A6000 comes with 48 GB of ECC-type graphics memory (error-correcting technology), allowing it to seamlessly integrate even in highly demanding professional environments that perform intensive simulation, measurement, and data analysis. I’m sure many of our readers will know how important it is to have ECC technology in memory when running accurate simulations for benchmarking purposes.

For power tasks, the NVIDIA RTX A6000 uses a 16-pin connector, and as we anticipate, cooling is carried out by a turbine-type fan. Its dual-slot design makes it easy to integrate into almost any type of setup. The only major drawback of this graphics card is the price, although it was clear that such a powerful model with so much graphics memory was not going to be cheap. It is available from 6,800 dollars, which at the exchange rate in euros are 6,261 euros (taxes not included).
