The world of the arts is in luck with the news of the launch of the new digital platform promoted by ioBuilders based on blockchain technology; obilum art.
It is the first Spanish online space for digital art (Artech) curated, which works through the commercialization of sustainable NFTs. With this new artistic platform, it is possible to expand the reach of international artists.
Obilum Art allows the fusion of artists, galleries and institutions to offer a proven quality digital art by expert voices (of art, technology, finance and law), completely transforming both the Spanish artistic sector and that of NFT platforms.
Obilum Art is possible thanks to the support of ioBuilders, which during its five years of existence had specialized in developing efficient blockchain technology solutions for financial institutions. Now the registry is changed and contributes its digital assets (bonds, funds, shares, syndicated loans or NFTs) to Artech.
In fact, the forecasts of this new tool go through selling NFTs of proven artists for a value of 5 million euros until 2026reaching a turnover of €1.25 million about. If these figures were reached, we would be talking about the Artech of reference curated artists.
An important and sustainable investment
The differential note of Obilum Art is its commitment to technological developments for 2023, this being superior to the €750,000. In the words of Carmen Ballesta (Founder & Chief Business Officer of Obilum Art), this platform is safe, transparent and intuitive.
It should be noted that, compared to other blockchain networks, Obilum Art is positioned as Respectful with the environmentputting into circulation NFTs with a low environmental impact, since the creation and transaction of digital assets generates up to 99% less CO2 emissions. And it is that the platform is driven by a side chain Ecological Ethereum.
In this way, it is possible to reach those artists and brands with a great ecological conscience that, although they decide to bet on NFTs, are not convinced by their high carbon footprint.
We don’t have to wait to see the first Obilum Art exhibition. In fact, the photographer’s collection of NFTs is already available on its website Uxío da Vila. This focuses on personal and everyday concepts such as the identity of the human being, the passage of time, intimacy, memory and the perception of reality.
Obilum Art has the support of the Association of Spanish Galleries, the international art consultancy TAC7 and other technology companies such as Palm NFT Studio or LG. From there, it will be able to grow and open a gap in the digital art market, becoming one of the reference providers in international contemporary art fairs such as Maco Zone, BOW either Art Basel.
With Obilum Art it is possible to generalize the successful commercialization of NFTs in Artech and that contemporary artists receive a remuneration according to their work, at the same time that they feel active part of the development of digital art in Spain. It is an unbeatable marketing opportunity for artists, galleries and institutions in the art world bringing classic styles into the New Media art market.
