OnePlus will unveil its new high-end smartphone of 2022, the OnePlus 10 Pro, on March 31. The smartphone that was launched last January in China will have taken nearly three months to arrive in France, but this long wait could ultimately have been beneficial for consumers.

Indeed, only a few days before the official announcement, the German retailer MediaMarkt inadvertently revealed on its website that the smartphone would be offered from 899 euros in Germanywhich is the same price as last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will not be more expensive than the OnePlus 9 Pro

Although the OnePlus 10 Pro is much more capable than its predecessor, its price should remain the same. With a base price of 899 euros in Germany for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, it is expected to be displayed at 919 euros in Francelike the OnePlus 9 Pro before it.

A version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is also planned, and should again be placed at 999 euros. We can regret that OnePlus did not decide to lower its prices as it did in China, but the smartphone still retains excellent value for money on the high end. For its part, Xiaomi has adopted a completely different pricing strategy, since its Xiaomi 12 Pro was launched much more expensive than we realize.

As a reminder, the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch on March 31, but is expected to be available for sale from April 5, 2022, according to information from MediaMarkt. it’s about the first time since the OnePlus 6 in 2018 that OnePlus has only launched a single smartphone at this time of year. Not everyone will have to buy the new OnePlus 10 Pro, since OnePlus has announced that it will offer the smartphone to 33 lucky people who have the first smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer: the OnePlus One.
