OnePlus 11: the launch is set for February 7, 2023, with the Buds Pro 2

Like every year, OnePlus will soon unveil its new flagship, the OnePlus 11. And we now have a launch date: the brand’s next high-end smartphone will be presented next February.

If the OnePlus 10 Pro was launched on January 11, 2023 in China, the brand has slightly delayed its schedule this year to launch its new flagship. Thus the OnePlus 11 will be unveiled a little later. OnePlus has just formalized the launch date of the smartphone, which is therefore set at February 7, 2023.

While OnePlus launched its OnePlus 10 Pro in China last year, the company is capitalizing on India this year. Most likely because the brand is known and recognized there, since it is in 3rd position on the premium smartphone market (just behind Apple and Samsung).

The smartphone will therefore be launched three weeks before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​which will be held from February 27 to March 3, 2023. An announcement that could coincide with the launch of another flagship: the Galaxy S23. Samsung has indeed made a habit of launching its devices around the same time. The battle promises to be tough between the two models, especially since OnePlus has probably decided to offer a whole range of beautiful innovations to its future flagship.

With its imposing dorsal island which accommodates the photo sensors, circular island and placed on the left side, the OnePlus 11 should benefit from a brand new design. For its part, a spokesperson for the brand has confirmed two rumors concerning the OnePlus 11. On the one hand, the smartphone will benefit froma Hasselblad photo sensor. And on the other hand, the Alert Slider (which allows you to switch between ringtone, silent or vibrate modes), should make a comeback.

Finally, according to the latest information, it is likely that the OnePlus 11 will benefit from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 6.7″ panel refreshed at 120 Hz. In short, the year should start on a high note for the brand. However, it will be the only OnePlus flagship unveiled early next year. We should therefore not expect a Pro version of the smartphone for 2023, at least not immediately.
