It’s been almost a month now that we know that OnePlus is working on a smartphone capable of recharging at full speed at a power of 150 W. After giving a taste of the performance of its solution at the MWC of Barcelona a few weeks ago, the device had been certified by the 3C organization. The certification revealed that the smartphone was in fact capable of being recharged at a maximum power of 160 W (20V 8A), but this one would ultimately be limited to 150 W.

Now, the leaker WHYLAB has unveiled on its Weibo account a large part of the smartphone’s technical sheet as well as images of the device charging. We can actually see on his screen that OnePlus’ phone gets a maximum power of 150W.

What do we know about the OnePlus smartphone that will recharge in just 15 minutes?

According to WHYLAB, the OnePlus equipped with 150 W fast charging technology would be named OnePlus Ace. For those who remember, the name “Ace” was originally used by Oppo for its smartphones that introduced new fast charging technologies. The Oppo Reno Ace, for example, was the first to charge in 30 minutes with a power of 65 W, and the Oppo Ace 2 was the first to feature fast wireless charging at 40 W.

WHYLAB reveals that the OnePlus Ace will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, which promises to be much more energy efficient than its competitors while delivering top-flight performance. At the front, we will find a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display (2412 x 1080 pixels). On the back, the smartphone will rely on a three-camera photo configuration with a 50 MP IMX766 main sensor. The battery will be 4500 mAh.

In France, we would not be entitled to the OnePlus Ace, since it would be reserved for China. However, OnePlus should introduce a very similar smartphone in Europe that would also be compatible with 150 W fast charging: the OnePlus Nord 3.
