OnePlus would soon launch its first foldable smartphone, it would be close to Oppo’s Find N

OnePlus could soon announce its very first foldable smartphone. This would be a variation of the Oppo Find N, but with a slightly different design, just like the overlay. It would be a daring bet on the part of OnePlus.

Fashion is for foldable smartphones. From now on, all manufacturers must have their model. OnePlus could soon risk it, according to PriceBaba, via PhoneArena. A small revolution for the manufacturer.

According to the site, the brand could be inspired by the Oppo Find N. The idea would be to take up the concept of the smartphone and to decline it with OnePlus sauce. The result would be a collapsible terminal with an identical format, but cheaper.

OnePlus could release its first foldable phone soon

It would not be the first time that this process has been used, since the OnePlus 10 Pro, released recently, uses the same bases as the Oppo Find X5 Pro. In recent times, OnePlus has indeed moved closer to its parent company Oppo, as a result greater product convergence.

The release of a foldable terminal would be a risky bet for OnePlus, but who could pay. If the brand’s products are still just as good, as evidenced by the 10 Pro, it no longer has the same aura as before. Many criticize the manufacturer for having become “like the others”. Bringing out a version of Find N would make it possible to offer something out of the ordinary, its almost square format being really particular. In addition, the Find N is sold at a price of 1300 euros, which makes it the cheapest foldable smartphone on the market. OnePlus would have the idea to reduce the price further, according to PriceBaba.

At the same time, the third brand of the BBK Holding conglomerate, Vivo, could also present its first foldable smartphone in the coming weeks: the X Fold. This would have a format closer to that of Samsung’s Fold, but a much larger 8-inch screen.

Now we just have to wait for a possible announcement from OnePlus. It is also to be hoped that this product will be released in Europe, and not only in China like the Find N.
