The Find X5, X5 Pro and X5 Lite are probably Oppo’s most anticipated smartphones of the year, and the technical data sheets of all the devices have already been entirely leaked even before the official presentation.
As Oppo prepares to unveil three new smartphones at a conference on February 24 at 12 p.m., we already know everything about them. On his Twitter account, the leaker @TechInsiderBlog has already published the official technical characteristics of all the devices: Find X5 Pro, Find X5 and Find X5 Lite.
Oppo Find X5 Lite: a Reno 7 5G with a mustache
When we look at the technical data sheet of the Find X5 Lite, we see that the mid-range smartphone is none other than a Reno 7 5G by another name. We find a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor accompanied by 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM as well as a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The smartphone is powered by a 4500mAh batterycompatible with the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired fast charging. No fast wireless charging on this model, but we can note the presence of a fingerprint sensor under the screen, a certification IPX4 for water and dust resistance and stereo speakers.
On the photo side, the smartphone relies on a three-camera configuration, with a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor as well as a third 2 MP sensor. Selfies are provided by a 32 MP Sony IMX615 sensor on all models. Unlike more expensive versions, the Find X5 Lite has to make do with ColorOS 12.1 with Android 11while the Find X5 and X5 Pro are entitled to Android 12.
Find X5 Pro: Oppo’s high-end smartphone for 2022
As Oppo had already announced several months ago, the Find X5 Pro is well powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone therefore aligns itself in terms of power with its main competitors, the OnePlus 10 Pro or the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
At the front, there is a 6.7-inch AMOLED WQHD+ (3216 x 1440 pixels) LTPO 2.0 screen with a frequency of 120Hz. The smartphone promises to be much more autonomous than its predecessor, the Find X3 Pro, since this year it comes with a 5000mAh battery. This supports the 80W wired fast charging capable of recharging the smartphone in 34 minutes. The wireless charging is 50 Wand 15 W reverse charging. The smartphone is IPX68 certified.
The photo is surely the most interesting part of the smartphone. There are three cameras, including a main sensor of 50 MP, a 50 MP ultra wide-angle sensor as well as a 13 MP telephoto lens. The Find X5 Pro therefore abandons the microscope sensor of the previous model, but is designed this year in partnership with Hasselblad, such as high-end smartphones from OnePlus. Oppo announces that the Find X5 Pro is capable of capturing 10 bit snapshots. In addition, there is an in-house MariSilicon X NPU, which Oppo describes as ” best in the world “. Its objective would be to improve the quality of the shots, and in particular those in low light. The Find X5 Pro would thus be able to record 4K videos in Ultra Night mode.
Find X5: a slightly smaller and less powerful Find X5 Pro
The classic Find X5 is not not much different from the Find X5 Pro. We find the same photo configuration with three cameras with a main sensor of 50 MP, an ultra wide-angle of 50 MP, the telephoto lens of 13 MP, Hasselblad as well as the MariSilicon X chip, but the smartphone uses a less powerful processor.
Indeed, he must content himself with Snapdragon 888 of the previous generation. The screen is also smaller. It is a slab 6.55-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixel) AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The battery is therefore revised downwards, to 4800mAh. Wired charging remains at 80Wbut the wireless charging is capped at just 30W. Finally, the smartphone is IP54 certified.
