Our readers talk: what are you going to play this weekend?

The weekend is one of the best times of the week to do things that we have not had time to do in previous days due to work, studies or both. Playing is, in my case, one of those things, and it’s that normally I can only get some time out late at night, and I’m usually so tired that I rarely enjoy it as I would like.

To be honest, even on the weekend I can’t play as much as I’d like, since adult life comes with other responsibilities and other things that, in the end, end up forcing you to leave those hobbies that you love a little more in the background. before they were your priority. With everything, whenever I can I try to play a gameand this weekend is not going to be an exception.

A few weeks ago I settled a pending account, finish Elden Ring, and after doing those “homework” I have started with A Plague Tale: Requiem. I haven’t made much progress yet, but so far I’m liking it and looking forward to it, since I actually started using it for performance analysis since it was released, but I didn’t have time to actually play it until a few days ago.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a true next-generation game, this is noticeable in many aspects, although I would especially highlight the complexity of the geometry and the quality of texturing, something that can be appreciated above all in details such as the fruits, fish and other small elements that appear when we visit the first big market, and also in the modeling of the characters and in the quality of lighting and shadows.

I have other pending titles that for one reason or another in the end I ended up leaving halfway, such as mass effect andromeda which I tried to return to right after I finished Elden Ring, but in the end I couldn’t. I also dedicate some loose ratillo to Diablo II Resurrected, mainly to trade, and I like to revisit 8-bit and 16-bit console classics, something I do mostly when I know I won’t have much time.

Now it’s your turn, what are you going to play this weekend? We read in the comments.
