Switch: stockouts to be expected in 2022
The CEO of the Japanese firm of Nintendo Shuntaro Furukawa has just announced that the Switch would unfortunately be difficult to find in 2022, the production being still victim of the shortage of semiconductors. The manufacturer said with regret “ It’s going to depend on demand, but I’m afraid we might not be able to make as many consoles as we would like.. We can already expect more out-of-stock next year, and that is likely to be the case for the PS5 and Xbox Series X as well.

ARCOM prepares for the fight against piracy
As of January 1, 2022, the merger of HADOPI and CSA will see the birth of ARCOM (Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority). A decree published in the Official Journal on Christmas Eve detailed ARCOM’s new arsenal to fight piracy and better protect copyright. This new entity will therefore be responsible for attacking mirror sites and systematically blocking them, but also for creating blacklists and tracking down followers of illegal downloading through the integration of the IP address in the data transmitted to the ARCOM.
