It took many months after its launch in the United States before seeing Paramount+ land on the French airwaves, but it is now done. This Thursday, December 1, the cinema giant is launching its own streaming platform, without hiding its ambition to compete with the big names in the sector such as Netflix, Disney + and Prime Video. He thus cuts the quid to HBO Max, which is still slow to arrive in our regions.

From today, it is therefore possible to take out a subscription for the modest sum of €7.99 per month. This is slightly less than Disney + and Netflix, both at € 8.99 per month if we do not take into account the formula with advertisements of the latter. Note, however, that at this price, users will not be able to watch their films and series in 4K, unlike these competitors. For now, only Full HD quality is available.
