The Government of Spain announced the expected revaluation of pensions for 2022. Now the State’s general budgets will use a new pension revaluation formula according to the CPI spent in search of maintaining the purchasing power of the almost nine million pensioners that they receive about 10 million pensions in the country, since about one million of them receive two benefits.

How will the minimum and maximum pensions be?
According to these data, the minimum pensions, which are not revalued according to inflation, will suffer an increase of up to 3 percent, data that was already confirmed by the Executive.
On the other hand, the maximum pension for next year already with the revaluation would be in the 39 thousand 342 euros a year. For its part, the minimum retirement with a dependent spouse would be around 12 thousand 430 euros per year and without a dependent spouse in about 10 thousand 74 euros a year.
Finally, the minimum pension for orphanhood or widowhood would amount to about 11 thousand 655 euros per year. In monthly terms, the maximum pension would be in the 2 thousand 803 euros per month, while the minimum retirement pension with a dependent spouse would be around 887 euros per year and that of without a dependent spouse in 683.
And for its part, the minimum minimum pension for orphanhood or widowhood would amount to about 832 euros per year. It should be noted that all these figures are only calculations, which must be made official soon.
