Long shelved due to the pandemic, Niantic announces the first physical events for 2022. Here are the dates.

Japan, Europe and Spain on the program

Thus, on its site dedicated to the news of Pokemon Go, Niantic reveals the dates of the first events, some of which are taking place very soon. First, there will be Pokémon GO Circuit: Johto on Saturday, February 26. A festivity that does not require entry or registration, and which can also be followed from home. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in many European cities, the following is the list:

Then, in Okinawa in Japan, players will be able to participate in the Pokémon Air Adventures event which will be held from Tuesday, May 3, 2022 to Sunday, May 8, 2022.

During these few days, Flying Pikachu will appear in the Okinawa area, and other bonuses will be available in cities around the world, although they may be different. In this region of the world, players can also try to capture Pikachu wearing an Okinawa kariyushi shirt from March 19.

Finally, as a third major event, Niantic announces the Pokémon GO Safari Zone, which will take place in Seville also in May. From May 13 to 15, Spanish players, or those passing through the city, can meet up in Parque del Alamillo to capture and study Pokémon.
