While the launch of the Poco F4 is now imminent, the smartphone file has just become clearer thanks to stolen photos of the smartphone, which notably reveal the photo module on the back.
Xiaomi will unveil in a few days a new mid-range smartphone, the Poco F4. It will be a direct successor to last year’s excellent Poco F3 which offered hard-to-beat value for money. We thought that the new generation Poco F4 would be a simple copy of a smartphone already released in China, the Redmi K40s, but it finally seems thata major difference is present on the Poco model.
Indeed, the leaker @xiaomiui shared on social networks a stolen photo of a Poco F4, and more precisely of the rear face. The photo reveals that the smartphone uses a 64 MP main camera, while the Redmi K40s uses a 48 MP main camera. Unlike the Poco F4 GT which was a carbon copy of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, this new Poco F4 will therefore benefit from a new camera compared to the Chinese version.

According to the information unearthed by xiaomiui in the source code of MIUI, the Poco F4 will use a 64 MP OV64B optically stabilized (OIS) main camera. It was the first 64 MP sensor to offer small 0.7 micron photosites. So it shouldn’t particularly shine in low light, but daytime photos should be quite detailed.
It will be accompanied by a 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor as well as a 2 MP macro sensor. Selfies will be provided by a 20 MP camera. On the performance side, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. The Poco F4 will be equipped with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display, and powered by a 4500mAh battery with the 67W fast charging. No wireless charging on the program for this range.
Finally, we can cite a connectivity Bluetooth 5.2and an MIUI 13 overlay based on Android 12. It remains to be seen when Xiaomi will present its new smartphone in France. Given the numerous leaks in recent weeks, it is expected to arrive by the end of June 2022. A Poco F4 Pro model is also expected to arrive at the same time.
