The week logically started with the presentation of the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros, new third-generation AirPods, new colors on HomePod and Siri services for Apple Music. Actually, this Apple event fell short for us. We were all waiting on Monday to see what they could present in the new professional teams and they did not disappoint, this time it seems that there are no complaints, at least in the vast majority of media and users.

A week in which we started very strong and we continue to see details of the new teams that were not shown at the event and other news. This coming week it will be time to pay attention to the first video reviews but the feeling is very good with these teams presented by Apple. What’s more we are very close to the launch of macOS Monterey.

We start with some of the highlights of the week with the presentation of these new MacBook Pros and their M1 Pro and M1 Max processors. Without a doubt we have been with news all week regarding these new teams, the return of the HDMI ports and SD slot.

Another point we want to highlight is the official release date for macOS Monterey. This version of Apple’s operating system is the one that has had the most betas in the entire history of the company and will now be available next Monday, October 25.

Another joy with the new MacBook Pros was the return of the MagSafe charging port. Apple should never have removed this charging method in the MacBook Pro which now returns to stay and share space with the USB C Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Notch on the MacBook Pro

To finish we share with you the only point of these MacBook Pro that has disparity of opinions, the arrival of the notch. This “eyebrow” on the screen means that with practically the same size of the previous 13-inch Pro the team grows an inch plus. In any case, it is not to the liking of many users. Quite the opposite of the elimination of the Touch Bar, which seems to have been something expected by many.
