Of course, the truth is that there are fewer Netflix weekend releases than expected, since the big N has launched its great pearls these weeks. Even so, we found some content that is worth highlighting.

Netflix premieres arriving this weekend

Netflix

As we were saying, on Netflix there are only two premiere series for this weekend, so you won’t find too many options to take into account.

  • The Bridgertons T2 (March 25, 2022)
  • Super PupZ (March 25, 2022)

HBO Max Weekend Premieres

On HBO Max we will find two premieres, season two of Starstruck, about the love story between a London girl and a movie star. In addition to the documentary series One Perfect Shot, where Ava Duvbernay invites the best Hollywood directors to tell her about her most amazing film scenes.

Movistar+ premieres this weekend

Within the Movistar Plus+ premieres for this weekend, we recommend you enjoy a family session watching the movie Baby Boss 2., although there are other options that may interest you.

Movies coming to Movistar+

The Boss Baby 2 (March 25, 2022)

The Templeton brothers go back to childhood and rediscover the importance of family in this sequel to the 2017 film “The Boss Baby,” which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature.

With the voices in the Spanish-dubbed version of Jose Coronado (who repeats as Ted Templeton) and his son Nicolás Coronado (as Tim), this action-packed animated family comedy shows Ted and Tim Templeton as adults and somewhat distanced. Ted is the director of an investment fund, while Tim is a family man, the father of two intelligent girls. When the brothers meet again (and argue), they discover that Tim’s young daughter is one of BabyCorp’s baby agents and that she needs her father and uncle’s help to stop the ruthless Dr. Armstrong, who is teaching the children to be sooo bad.

In the original version, the film features the voices of Alec Baldwin (Ted), James Marsden (Tim) and Eva Longoria (Carol).

Escape Room 2: You’re dying to get out (March 26, 2022)

In this psychological ‘thriller’ with abundant doses of terror -and with a quite explicit title in the original version (“Escape Room: Tournament of Champions”)-, Zoey and Sam will end up joining their fate with that of other survivors of the Machiavellian game of Minos in another deadly test.

Flee (March 27, 2022)

Amin Nawabi, a successful 36-year-old academic, has spent most of his life keeping his story a secret. This time, animation and a pseudonym allow her to protect his identity and finally reveal a secret that he has been hiding for a long time. When he is about to marry his boyfriend, he decides to leave the ghosts of the past behind and tell his close friend and director of the documentary, Jonas Poher Rasmussen, about his complicated life as an Afghan refugee.

When he was just a child he had to leave his country with his family to survive. Since then his story is a story of survival that includes years hidden in Russia, clandestine trips in search of a better life and ruthless human traffickers. Now is the time to stop running away.
