Problems with Resident Evil VIII on Steam? so you can fix it

More than a year has passed since Capcom brought us the eighth installment of what has become the saga of survival-horror by excellence, resident Evil. In this new title, those responsible may have surpassed themselves, delivering a game with a superb technical section, at least if you enjoy it on consoles since if you’re a dedicated PC gamer, let’s just say you’re not so lucky.

Resident Evil VIII Misbehaves

Although at first they seemed like a few crazy people who thought there was a catastrophic failure in the game, nothing could be further from the truth, since Capcom has recently acknowledged that, by accident, they have introduced a bug in the version sold on Steam Resident Evil Village that has been sneaked without asking permission through the latest patch published in the Valve store.

This is not the first time that the franchise has fallen prey to bugs. So much Resident Evil 5 What resident Evil 6, to be exact, they also caused similar errors on Steam, causing certain parts of each of them to be completely unplayable. From errors in which enemies stopped appearing to a complete block to continue the story or falls into the void beyond the mapc

In Resident Evil Village the thing has to do with a problem that crashes the game and It returns us suddenly and without prior notice to the home screenwhich makes it impossible for Steam users to play the game without having to worry about the game blowing up.

Capcom apologizes and promises fix

Last Monday (as you can see just above) Capcom, through the official Twitter account of resident Eviladdressed all Steam players and took the opportunity to apologize and something else:

“To all the players of resident Evil on Steam: We are aware of a bug with the new patch that is causing the game to crash for some users. We are currently looking at a solution to fix this and apologize for any inconvenience caused.”

Although at the moment we have not been given a date of when this error will be corrected, it is certain that we will not have to wait too long since, as you are sure aware, the game will receive new content in just over a week so it is practically an obligation that Capcom previously correct this little problem within Steam. If not, it is exposed that by adding extra content the bomb and the problem becomes much more virulent and affects more and more users.

The problem is especially serious because today Resident Evil Village it is not sold for PC in any other digital store. Neither GoG nor the Epic Games Store have versions available, so the error that Capcom must correct fully impacts 100% of those who use their computer to enjoy one of the best survival-horror that we have ever seen. So if you are among those who have seen how the game is interrupted, pay attention to Capcom’s social networks, but especially to the updates of the Valve store, to install the update as soon as possible to all game files.

And you? Have you had the misfortune to cross the path of this bug of Resident Evil Village?
