PS5, PS4: Sony gives the release dates of 22 games to follow in 2022

Sony reveals the release dates of 22 games not to be missed in 2022. A list that concerns both the very recent PS5 and the still very active PS4. You will find both PlayStation essentials, such as God of War, Uncharted, Horizon and Gran Turismo, as well as third-party licensed games, such as Elden Ring, Rainbox Six, Final Fantasy or Forspoken. Independent games are obviously not forgotten.

Sony today unveiled a list of 22 games to watch for this year 2022. From expected games such as big blockbusters to independent games, we have here a list that can give us something to enjoy this year. Everyone will be served, whether on PS4 or PS5, this list is full of titles to satisfy everyone.

Here are the release dates for the 22 games to watch coming to PS5 in 2022

Several games expected on Sony’s latest console are fast approaching their release. As we had already seen in our columns, Horizon Forbidden West that Guerilla continues to unveil sparingly. It will be released on February 18. More than a month to wait! During this wait, you can take advantage of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which comes out next week, January 28. Other games to delight all tastes may also make you wait. Elden Ring, new production from the creators of Bloodborne and Dark Souls, will be released on February 25 or Gran Turismo 7 on March 4. Let’s not forget either Forspoken, a very ambitious title developed by the Japanese studio Luminous Productions and published by Square-Enix. With around fifteen great new features in 2022, the PS4 is far from dead!

On PS4, we find a large part of the great releases of the PS5. So you can enjoy it even if you don’t have Sony’s latest console. This is particularly the case of Horizon Forbidden West whose PS4 version would have leaked a few days ago. Tom Clancy’s Rainbox Six Extraction will be released this Thursday, so have a good weekend! The sequel to the action survival horror game Dying Light will be released on February 4. Available on March 18, fans of Japanese RPGs will be able, as on PS5, to throw themselves headlong into Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin.
