Rashida Jones and David Oyelowo join the cast of the series Wool for Apple TV +

We continue to talk about the next projects in serial format that will arrive in the future on Apple’s video streaming platform. This time it’s about the drama Wool, a series that already has in the cast with Tim Robbins and with Rebecca Ferguson.

Tim Robbins and Rebbeca Ferguson just joined Rashida Jones and David Oyelowo, according to the guys from Deadline. In this series, David Oyelowo will play the role of sheriff while Rashida Jones will play his wife. Wool is an adaptation of Hugh Howey’s dystopian novel series for Apple TV +.

Wool is set in a ruinous and toxic future in which a community lives in a gigantic underground silo, hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of rules that they think are meant to protect them.

The adaptation of the three books written by Hugh Howey will be written by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost (Blood brothers, Justified) and directed by Oscar nominee Morten Tyldum (Defend Jacob, The Imitation Game).

The series is produced by Rebeca Ferguson, Graham Yost and Morter Tyldum, along with author Hugh Howey. Remi Aubuchon, Nina Jack and Ingrid Escajeda will also serve as executive producers of the drama, produced by AMC Studios.
