Apple Original Films has announced the new project called: Raymond and Ray. A new feature film to be produced by Apple Studios and starring Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke. Written and directed by Rodrigo García. Produced by Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn through Mockingbird Pictures. Gabriela Rodríguez and Shea Kammer will serve as executive producers.
Raymond and Ray follows half brothers Raymond (played by Ewan McGregor) and Ray (played by Ethan Hawke) who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father. Somehow they still have a sense of humor, and their funeral is an opportunity for them to reinvent themselves. There is anger, there is pain, there is madness, there may be love, and there is definitely a grave to be dug.
Raymond and Ray join an expanding line of Apple original films that includes CODA. The first film to win all the major awards at the Sundance Film Festival and now airing on Apple TV +.
