Re-Main arrives on Prime Video: here is the release date of the anime on water polo

With a place on your Facebook page, Yamato Video announced that Re-Main, the new original anime of the MAPPA studio (Attack of the Giants 4) focused on water polo, will arrive soon, very soon on Amazon Prime Video.

The anime will be available in subtitled version both on the streaming platform and in simulcast on the Yamato Animation YouTube channel.

For the occasion, a new trailer for this new series has also been released, the first season of which consists of 12 episodes will debut on Saturday 3 July 2021.

Plot and details of the anime

The story of this anime spokon centers on Minato, a boy who stopped playing water polo due to an injury sustained in the winter of his third year of middle school.

The boy resumes competitive activity with a new team when he enrolls in high school, but it is a novice team that faces many problems.

Masafumi Nishida, Tiger & Bunny’s lead writer, is co-creator, principal director, script supervisor and series writer for each episode, and is also credited as an audio director.

Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear, Kakegurui xx) directs the anime at the MAPPA studio under Nishida’s supervision.

Aori Fujika (Name romanization unconfirmed) is working on the original character concepts and Shiho Tanaka (director of animation of the Banana Fish episode, director of animation Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather) is adapting the character design to the animation, while Kana Utatane (TaWaRa) is doing the music for Re-Main.
