Red.es ensures that the resolution period for Digital Kit files is 30 days

A few days ago, the general director of Red.es, Alberto Martinez Lacamba, attended an informative breakfast together with Víctor Rodrigo Raya, deputy director of Systems and Digital Kit of the entity, to analyze the main aspects, technology, operation and implemented solutions of the Digital Kit program.

In the 7 months since the Program began, Red.es has launched the three calls that will now coexist in parallel. they all count with an expandable initial budget and their purpose is to improve the competitiveness and level of digital maturity of companies in each of their segments and at the moment there are more than 174,000 applications for aid between the three calls.

The third call, for companies with between 0 and less than 3 employees, has been open since October 20 and has a grant of 2,000 euros. In just 24 hours the first 21,500 applications had already been received and now has more than 37,500.

Nearly 400 million euros have already reached SMEs

According to official sources, to date, the Digital Kit program has received more than 78,000 applications from companies with between 10 and less than 50 employees and 29,000 grants have already been granted in this segment, which was the first to be approved. This number of grants awarded is equivalent to to almost 350 million euros from European funds NextGeneration EU.

This first call, with a grant of 12,000 euros, has extended the deadline for submitting applications for another six months, with which it will be open until March 15, 2023.

The application period for the second call for aid from the Kit Digital program, aimed at companies with between 3 and less than 10 employees, began on September 2 and around 58,000 applications have already been received. On the first day alone, more than 12,000 requests were received. To date, more than 5,600 grants have already been granted to small businesses, micro-businesses and the self-employed in this segment, which is equivalent to around 34 million euros from European NextGenerationEU funds.

The figure of the voluntary representative

In order to facilitate access to aid as much as possible, the figure of the “voluntary representative” has been enabled, that is, that any third party is a natural or legal person, duly authorized, You can apply for help on behalf of the company.

In addition, following the line of lightening the application process for companies, under the motto “zero papers”, Red.es has designed a processing system, using automated robotization and artificial intelligence tools that reduces the bureaucratic burden, decreases the number of documents to present and shortens the concession terms. At this time, the deadline for resolution of the files is 30 daysaccording to the entity, and 100% of the companies in segments I and II that met the requirements are already receiving their digital voucher.
