The Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community (REDIT) has signed an agreement with the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS), as promoter and formal representative of the Young Water Professionals Spanish Chapter (YWP-Spain) to carry out R+D+i projects in the field of water.
Thanks to this framework, both entities have committed to exchange scientific and technical knowledge and to promote research, technology transfer and higher quality training, with special interest in the social and economic development of peoples, specifically, in the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
The agreement, which will have an initial duration of three years, It will also promote the development of R+D+i projects, it will introduce technological improvements in the processes and will bet on their sustainability with the aim of solving current problems through innovation, which will ultimately benefit citizens.

With this agreement, we reinforce our commitment to continue developing synergies between the actors of the innovative and business ecosystem, thus promoting a more solid and competitive industrial fabric.”.
Besides, Fernando Morcillo, president of AEAS, has highlighted “This agreement advances the activity of the YWP chapter, expanding its collaborations and enriching the network.”
On the other hand, Jose Antonio Palomero, responsible for events at YWP, comments «This is a great agreement for the network, since, thanks to it, REDIT was present at the last YWP national congress in Valencia. In addition, it serves as a framework both for future collaborations at the training level and for participation in future events where young people in the sector have professional growth opportunities.
