Xiaomi has just announced good news on social networks. The manufacturer will hold an event on January 26 where it will announce the new Redmi Note 11, its affordable smartphones of 2022.
Xiaomi presented its new Redmi Note 11 series in China several months ago now, and the smartphones will soon arrive in Europe. Indeed, the Chinese manufacturer has announced that the Redmi Note 11 series will arrive in Europe on January 26 at 1 p.m. Several models would be planned for Europe, and we know that they would be eight in number. In particular, we expect to see a Redmi Note 11, a Redmi Note 11 Pro and possibly a Redmi Note 11S.
The smartphones will directly succeed the 2021 Redmi Note 10, which arrived a little later in March. As every year, the Redmi Note range is the most popular at Xiaomi, in particular thanks to their very interesting price-quality ratio.
What technical characteristics for the Redmi Note 11?
Unlike in previous years, we don’t know much about the European Redmi Note 11s. Indeed, the Chinese Redmi Note 11 arrived in France under the name POCO M4 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro would arrive as POCO X4. Therefore, the European Redmi Note 11s are expected to be new phones that are currently not available elsewhere.
According to information from MySmartPrice, the classic Redmi Note 11 would not be compatible with 5G. Indeed, the smartphone would be powered by a Snapdragon 680 chip, supported by up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The smartphone would be equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device would therefore abandon the OLED panel of the previous generation, and it would be reserved for more expensive models.
On the photo side, the Redmi Note 11 would bet on a configuration with three cameras, against 4 on the previous generation. We would find a 50 MP main sensor, a captor 8 MP ultra-wide angle as well as a third 2 MP sensor. The selfie part will be managed by an 8 MP sensor. We also know that smartphones will be available in three colors: Star Blue, Graphite Gray and Twilight Blue.
