The director of Parasite could well call on Robert Pattinson for his next film, adapted from a novel which is soon to be published.

According to Deadline, the South Korean filmmaker will adapt Mickey7, next novel by Edward Ashton. The book, due for release in the first quarter of 2022, will follow the adventures of Mickey7, a disposable employee of a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim. Whenever there is a mission too dangerous, even suicidal, the crew turns to Mickey. After dying six times, and recovering a new body, he finally understands the terms of his contract and finds out why his position was the only one vacant.
According to Deadline, the author’s manuscript immediately caught his eye when presented to him late last year. Since then, its production teams have made good progress since the first discussions have already taken place with certain actors. Among them, it is particularly the name of Robert Pattinson which circulates. The Briton, who is beginning to make himself indispensable in Hollywood, could embody the main character of this space adventure.
