Just in time to take advantage of them this Easter, Epic Games brings us this week two new games for free that will certainly not go unnoticedwith the procedural dungeons and curious inheritance system of Rogue Legacy, and the gripping and immersive story-thriller of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
Following the same procedure as previous games, both titles will be available and redeemable through the Epic Games Storeso we will only have to log in with our Epic account and access the files of each of the titles (Rogue Legacy and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter), and complete the entire purchase process.
Although we can also add them directly from the desktop appwhere they will appear in a small pop-up at the top of the home page, as well as a prominent line in the store section, from which we can easily access the pages of these free games without having to resort to the web browser.
Finally, remember that like the rest of the free games offered in the Epic Games Store, these can only be redeemed for free for one week, being the new deadline next thursday 14 April until 4:59 p.m. (peninsula time).
Rogue Legacy
Without a doubt one of my favorite games given away by Epic, and a game that I have dedicated many hours to. In this genealogical roguelite where anyone can become a hero, every time we die, one of our descendants will succeed us. However, not every hero is perfect: one could be colorblind, nearsighted, have stomach problems, or even be a dwarf with vertigo. But nothing happens, since we do not have to be a charming prince to triumph against the hordes of evil.
Luckily, and to try to help us with the challenging difficulty of the game, every time we die we can use all the gold that we have obtained with each character to improve your mansion, which will give your next descendants some boosts such as improvements in life, magic, and even new specialized classes with unique powers.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
A first-person mystery game focused on exploration and discovery. Play as Paul Prospero, an occult detective who receives a disturbing letter from Ethan Carter. Realizing that the boy is in danger, Paul heads to Ethan’s house in Red Creek Valley, where the situation turns out to be much worse than he had imagined. Ethan is missing after a brutal murder, and Paul quickly learns that it may not be the only murder in the area worth investigating.
