Sage presents the pillars of its strategy for the coming year

On Thursday we had the opportunity to attend the Sage press conference with the general manager for Spain and Portugal, Jose Luis Martin Zabala, who presented us with the results of the company’s annual exercise, as well as their strategies for 2023. The company has gained more than 14,000 clients in the last year, which predicts a solid future and a significant presence in Spanish and Portuguese SMEs.

Specifically, the solutions Sage 50 and Sage Business Cloud They have been the protagonists of the portfolio; however, the latter has registered a growth of 18% globally in recurring revenue. In addition, the company has continued working to facilitate the migration to the cloud of its clients, of which more than 5,000 have made the leap this year with Sage 50, raising to 75% the percentage of clients that already have native cloud solutions.

Zabala recalled that the promotion of programs such as Sage Partner Cloud is facilitating change, thanks to interoperability between platforms. “2022 has been a great year, both in customer acquisition and customer loyalty: 98% of those who already work with our solutions have renewed their subscription, which indicates that the service we offer is what they need, that we are doing well road”, commented José Luis Martín Zabala. “We have a good base on which to continue growing, so for next year we will continue working in this line, by specializing the channel, with the aim of being more efficient.”

Goals for 2023

Looking ahead to next year, the technology company has presented an ambitious strategy to maintain its position as a provider of native cloud solutions, as well as a renewal rate above 100%. In addition, as Martín Zabala has announced, “Our objective is to take a step forward and go looking for new clients, in order to gain a greater market share.”

To do this, Sage will launch two new initiatives: Sage Active and Digital Network. First, Sage Active will allow the company’s partners to develop their own integrated solutions that offer differential value, in order to continue attracting new customers.

Finally, the company has announced a aid plan complementary to the Digital Kit of 7 million euros, articulated mainly through non-refundable loans, technological training for SMEs and consulting.

We continue to grow at a good pace, and that is mainly thanks to the trust of our clients and partners, who year after year decide to continue trusting us. And for this reason we have a very important task: offer them a differential value thanks to the development of robust solutions that respond to each and every one of their needs”. explained the general director of Sage for Spain and Portugal. “We have many plans for next year in terms of growth in the small and medium segment, and confidence in our channel, one of our main strengths.”.
