Sage signs an agreement with the Nebrija Vocational Training Institute

Sage has signed a collaboration agreement with the Nebrija Institute for Vocational Training. The agreement is part of the company’s commitment with promoting the development of digital skills and, thus, contribute to the professionals of tomorrow finishing their training process prepared to face their future work in the best conditions. An agreement that joins those already reached by the company with different universities and educational centers, within the Sage Educa project, which already has more than 12,000 students.

The signed agreement is addressed to combine efforts, knowledge and experience to maximize the quality of the institution’s academic programs in this area.

Preparing the management and finance professionals of the future

Under the agreement, Sage will be responsible for propose improvements in the contents of the academic program of the Higher Degree Training Cycle in Administration and Finance and will develop and launch workshops, seminars and/or master classes aimed at maximizing the opportunities of integration in the labor market of its students.

Sage will also provide teachers and students of the Higher Level Training Cycle of Administration and Finance educational licenses of your Sage 50 business management solutions and Nominaplus, including a Premium support service, with the aim of promoting hands-on learning and allowing students to acquire real professional experience thanks to the reproduction of typical office situations in the classroom.

Sage’s commitment to developing students’ professional skills is strong and fully aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) from the ONU. Specifically, with the one related to the improvement of education (SDG 4. Quality education), which includes the goal of considerably increasing the number of young people and adults with the necessary skills, in particular technical and professional, to access employment, decent work and entrepreneurship, by 2030. In addition, Sage’s projects for training in digital tools contribute to reducing the digital divide and, consequently, inequality of opportunities, in line with SDG 10.

At the same time, the company’s commitment also contributes to compliance with SDG 8, related to decent work and economic growth, and which, by 2020, called for a significant reduction in the proportion of young people who are neither employed nor studying or receive training.
