Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, new mid-range tablet

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is presented as a new mid-range tablet that will bet on offering, in general, a good value for money. Externally, this tablet maintains a minimalist design, tight edges and a clean and sober back, a sobriety that is only broken by the Samsung logo and the space reserved for the rear camera.

At the specification level, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has a 10.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, it has 3GB-4GB RAM, depending on the configuration we choose, and it can mount up to 128 GB of storage capacity. The standard version has Wi-Fi connectivity, but we can also opt for a configuration with 4G LTE if we need to always be connected without having to depend on a Wi-Fi network.

Its heart is a Unisoc Tiger T618 chip, which features a 2 GHz 8-core CPU, and it has an ARM Mali G52 MP2 GPU, which offers superior performance than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. The leap against this is, in terms of performance, considerable.

The rest of its specifications are completed with a USB Type-C connector, a 3.5 mm jack, a slot for microSD cards up to 1 TB, an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Its battery is 7,040 mAh, supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, and comes with Android 11 as the operating system.
