Samsung reveals its line of televisions for 2022

Continuing with its announcements prior to the celebration of CES 2022, Samsung has started the first week of the year with the presentation of its entire new line of televisions for 2022, including the Micro LED, Neo QLED and Lifestyle families, with new models featuring various picture and sound enhancements, new smart features, more screen size options, and other enhancements.

Starting with the new Micro LED family, we find the arrival of three new oversized models, starting from 89 inches, going through a medium model that will exceed a hundred to reach 101 inches, and going even further into these sizes to reach 110 inches with his older model.

Three televisions that will obviously have a Micro LED panel, one of the most advanced on the current market, thanks to which they will offer us a grayscale depth support up to 20 bits, with the best control with more than 1 million steps of brightness and color levels, and a compatibility of the 100% DCI and Adobe RGB color gamut.

Although we can also find some interesting news regarding the software, with the arrival of Art Mode, which allows users to turn any room into an art gallery by selecting and displaying their favorite artwork or digital photos, as well as two exclusive multimedia pieces from noted artist and designer Refik Anadol.

On the other hand, this new family will also incorporate Multi View technology, with which we can watch content from up to four different sources simultaneously, from any or all of the four HDMI ports, maintaining the maximum resolutions of 4K at up to 120 frames per second; in addition to the already more recurrent technology Dolby Atmos, with which we will finish perfecting the experience with first-rate immersive audio with upper, side and lower channel speakers, creating a higher quality multidimensional sound.

Although this time we will not see the arrival of new sizes, we will find a great upgrade from current models.

And it is that the new Neo QLED will have the new Advanced Contrast Mapping technology with BLU (backlight unit), which increases the brightness level of the gradation from 12 to 14 bits for greater control of the light source; With EyeComfort mode, which will automatically adjust the screen brightness and hue based on a built-in light sensor and the user’s current day and time information.

Additionally, other improvements related to the processor of these televisions have also been included, such as the Real Depth Enhancer, a multi-intelligence image quality algorithm that creates a greater sense of realism by determining and processing an object on the screen against its background to create a sense of depth; in addition to the new Shape Adaptive Light technology, which will take advantage of the powerful Neo Quantum processor to analyze lines, shapes and surfaces to control the light shape of the Quantum Mini LEDs, improving the brightness and precision of all shapes on the screen.

Finally, regarding the audio, we will find the incorporation of the OTS Pro system, with powerful upward firing speakers to create superior surround sound, plus Samsung’s new top channel speakers, adding support for Dolby Atmos audio enhancement technology.

The latest news comes from the hand of The Frame, The Sero and The Serif televisions, fully updated with a new matte screen with anti-reflective, anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint properties, backed by three Underwriter Laboratories verifications.
