Santiago Casado is the new director of NPL in Spain for Intrum

Intrum continues to actively strengthen its workforce. The company specializing in credit and real estate asset management services has recently appointed Santiago Married What new NPL manager of the company in Spain, thus assuming the leadership of this business unit.

Within his new position, Casado will be in charge of following up on the business strategy NPL, working on new opportunities, creating alliances with the company’s current clients and industry players and, most importantly, reinforcing Intrum’s value proposition in this area.

The objective of the multinational is to continue providing the best service to its clients and strengthen its position in Spain, where, with assets under management valued at more than 50,000 million euros, it is the absolute market leader, according to the fifth edition of the Assets Under Management observatory of the consulting firm Axis Corporate.

Santiago Casado has a track record in the sector of almost 20 years. Throughout all this time, he has participated in and led NPL and REO portfolio acquisition and management projects in companies such as Deloitte, Copernicus, Alantra or Savills, among other. He has a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Master’s in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles and an Executive MBA from IESE.
