Sastrify arrives in Spain after capturing more than 14 million euros

The startup, specialized in solutions for optimizing technological investment for companies, has announced its arrival on the Spanish market. The start of activity in the country is a consequence of its international expansion plan, after the recent ‘Series A’ financing round of more than 14 million euros, through the New York firm FirstMark (reference investors such as Airbnb, Pinterest or Shopify), joining HV Capital and various business angels.

Sastrify, founded in Germany at the beginning of 2020, is one of the first SaaS (software as a service) license management platforms, designed to improve cloud software purchasing processes and the expense dedicated to it. The platform studies the number of licenses, invoices and the real time dedicated to each of the contracted solutions. In this way, you can discover inefficiencies in its use, optimizing the cost of all the SaaS licenses of a company.

The company, already present in 15 countries and with more than 150 clients, like the german Gorillas or the application for Adidas runners, Runtastic, starts its activity in Spain led by David Alonso. In addition, in our country it already has leading clients in its sector such as Playtomic and SamyRoad.

Bet on the Spanish market within its expansion plan

The Spanish market is strategic for the company, due to the accelerated digitization of companies in Spain and the increase in investment in technological solutions and tools, especially after the pandemic and the rise of teleworking and remote collaboration. In this sense, according to IDC Research, investment in SaaS (software as a Service) accounted for 65% of the 2,050 million spent on public cloud services in Spain in 2021.

Sastrify can help companies save up to 30% of your expenses in SaaS, an investment on the rise in Spain, which, in this context, can reach tens of thousands of euros for an average company in the country. David Alonso has highlighted that “Nobody is unaware that there has been a great technological acceleration in Spain as a result of the pandemic, teleworking and other factors. Digitization by itself is no longer a differential aspect and the time has come to differentiate itself even more, making a rational and optimized use of technology. We are excited to be able to help, from now on, Spanish companies to get the most out of their tools”.
