To start with, we have the Corsair RM850x 80 Plus Gold power supply which offers us a power of 850 W and is fully modular. We continue with the Corsair 5000D Airflow chassis, which is of the ATX type and with an open front, for great airflow. In addition, to enhance the airflow we have a kit of three Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB fans.
Corsair 5000D Airflow, a great case with tempered glass
You can’t buy the latest hardware and not display it properly. So that you can show off your new gaming PC, we have chosen this corsair chassisr with tempered glass window. In addition, the hardware must be properly cooled and this chassis offers us a mesh front, so we will have a great flow of air.
This chassis offers support for motherboards from E-ATX, ATX, mini-ITX and micro-ATX formats. So we can install any gaming motherboard on the market without major problems. also supports processor heatsinks up to 170mm tall and tgraphics cards up to 420 mm long. Something interesting is that it allows the installation of graphics cards vertically, in case we are interested in showing off our graphics.
As we have mentioned, this chassis has a tempered glass window that allows you to see the installed components. It also has a mesh front to have a great air flow. About cooling, this chassis supports up to 10 120mm fans, so our hardware will be properly cooled.
This chassis has space to install 4 x 2.5-inch SSDs and 2 3.5-inch HDDs. Regarding front connectivity, it has two USB 3.0 ports and one port USB 3.1 Type-Cas well as a combo audio and microphone jack.
Possibly one of the best PC towers that we can find on the market. This chassis is built to be durable and has some really impressive finishes.

Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB, to create great airflow
Although the 5000D chassis has a front fan, it is basic and lacks RGB lighting. That is why we have thought of changing it for these three fans on the front and thus create a large flow of cold air into the interior of our PCMR.
We have in this Corsair kit three 120 mm fans with RGB lighting and low noise, this being only 28 dB. These of course are PWM and have a maximum speed rotation up to 1500 RPM.
They integrate the Corsair AirGuide technology, that generates a more concentrated airflow to improve the cooling of the components. These fans also have eight LEDs around the axis that can be managed using the company’s iCUE software.
They are very good quality fans and excellent airflow (up to 47.3 CFM). A perfect complement to the chassis we have chosen, without a doubt.
Corsair RM850x 80 Plus Gold, Fully Modular PSU
We have the chassis and the fans, now we have to power all the components that we install. For this we have chosen a high power power supply and fully modular design. A high-efficiency Corsair solution that supports any gaming graphics card on the market without problems.
The chosen Corsair power supply offers us a 850W power forks fully modular. What this allows us is a better management of the wiring, since we will only use the necessary ones for our configuration. It integrates Japanese capacitors, which are considered the best on the market for their great reliability.
We said that this power supply is completely modular. It features one 24-pin ATX cable and three 4+4-pin EPS / ATX12V cables. Additionally, it has four 6+2-pin PCIe cablesa cable with four 4-pin PATA connectors and four SATA cables, two with four connectors and two with three connectors, for a total of 14 SATA connectors.
This power supply offers us a Cybernetics Gold efficiency, which ranges between 87-91% efficiency. In addition, it has a cCybernetics A sound certification, which indicates that the power supply fan has a loudness between 25-30 dBA. What’s more, the power supply fan is only activated when a load of 340 W is exceeded.
A robust power supply that is more than enough for a more or less normal gaming setup. For certain graphics, it can be fair, but come on, for the upper-middle range of NVIDIA and AMD, to spare.
