The DNS security and management company, Infoblox, has incorporated Scott Harrell as the new CEO and President. Former CEO and President, Jesper Andersonwill continue to serve on the Board of Directors and support Harrell until the transition is complete.
Scott Harrell has a solid professional career of more than two decades in top executive level positions in different companies in the sector such as Cisco Systems and Intel, leading teams and developing business. Prior to joining Infoblox, Scott Harrell was the Senior VP and General Manager of Intent Based Networking at Cisco, where he built $20 billion worth of business. He was in charge of supervising the entire client portfolio and coordinating the engineering departments in the enterprise, IoT and data center market areas. He holds an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flaglar Business School and an Industrial Engineer from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Scott Harrell joins Infoblox at a time of company expansion, in a business environment characterized by increasingly hybrid and distributed work environments, with staff in remote locations and operating in multi-cloud environments, which greatly increases the complexities of DNS management and security challenges, which constitutes the company’s core business.
Scott Harrell has been personally selected by Infoblox investors Vista Equity Partners and Warburg Pincus as successor to Jesper Anderson. Over the past decade, Infoblox has experienced tremendous growth, increasing its customer base by 82%, its partner base by 43% and doubling its number of employees, while taking its technology solutions to the highest levels. innovation and adaptation to current customer demands.
