Second version release candidate of macOS Monterey 12.1 released for developers

Which is considered as the second part of the MacOS Monterey 12.1 Release Candidate It has been released by Apple for developers for testing purposes. This second part is released a few days after its first part and a month later than the official launch of the operating system. Apple does not stop working on improving the operating systems of its different devices and especially the Macs.

In case the Anglicisms sound like Chinese to you, we can say that the Release Candidate versions are those that are almost ready to be released as the official version. That is, it should not contain many errors. That means that we are almost at the gates of the version prepared for all the public.

Registered developers can download the macOS Monterey 12.1 beta profile via Apple Developer Center. Once installed, the beta version will be available through the software update mechanism in System Preferences.

Remember that macOS Monterey 12.1 has SharePlay to Macs for the first time. This is a new feature that is designed to allow you to watch TV, listen to music, and play games with friends and family through FaceTime. Apple developed this feature to work with first-party app options like Apple TV, Apple Fitness +, and Apple Music. However, it has not forgotten about the third applications. That’s why there is an API for developers and with it, third-party applications can also use the SharePlay FaceTime features.

Now, we have to remind you that even if it is an almost flawless version, it is only intended for developers. That means that if you are not, you will not be able to download the update and if you have just joined the program, I think it is always good to say that the betas are precisely that, a project in testing. That is, it can have bugs and that is why it should not be installed on main devices and always make backup copies beforehand.
