See 2: Jason Momoa is a… samurai, in the second season trailer

See 2, the second season of the Apple TV + series starring Jason Momoa is about to return and, to remind us, the video on demand service has released a new trailer on the net in these hours.

For those who haven’t seen the first season, See takes place in the distant future where humanity is mostly blind. Baba Voss (Momoa), in the series attempts to escape with his family from the evil queen of the lands they inhabit; all while looking for the true father of the adopted children who, unlike the rest of the tribe, are able to see.

Now, we know that in See 2 Dave Bautista will play the role of Edo Voss, the unknown brother of Baba Voss (Jason Mamoa), who will appear in the series as his antagonist. The characters returning to the show will be Eden Epstein (Sweetbitter), Tom Mison (Watchmen), Hoon Lee (Warrior), Olivia Cheng (Warrior), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water) and Tamara Tunie (Flight).

In the second season, Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) is fighting to reunite his family and protect them as the threat of war looms between the Paya Kingdom and the Trivantian Republic. Despite all efforts, his wife and children – who still have the gift of sight – are brought to the forefront of the conflict, where they are noticed by Baba’s outcast brother, Edo Voss (Dave Bautista), a powerful and cunning trivantian general. whose latent hatred towards his brother will put them even more in danger.

The eight-episode second season will be released worldwide Friday, August 27 on Apple TV + with the first episode, followed by a new weekly episode, every Friday. All this while a third season has already received the green light and filming is already underway in Canada.

See’s second season is produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe and Jonathan Tropper, who is also showrunner. The series is produced by Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.
