Seven out of 10 Spanish SMEs still do not have a website

Despite this new reality, a GoDaddy report has revealed that in Spain 7 out of 10 small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) do not have a website to carry out their activity. In fact, the World Economic Forum pointed out in 2020 that it was expected to create 133 million new jobs in the world related to digital design, so the graphic designer profile has become one of the most sought after in 2022.

The digital bonus is still valid for SMEs with up to 49 employees

Technology professions increased by 38% in 2021, becoming the best choice for those who want to secure a good place in today’s job market, according to consulting firm Mckinsey. According to these data, a year earlier, in 2020, online sales in Spain increased by 36%, placing Spain as the third country with the highest growth in e-commerce. Along the same lines, SMEs with up to 50 employees can now request the “Digital Bonus” that the government has made available, with a subsidy that it approved last year that plans to invest 3,000 million euros to promote digital transformation within this type of companies. 5,700 requests have already been registered by technology providers, and 2,500 have been resolved.

It is a sector that needs people specialized in the digital field and that right now is creating this new qualified profile”, affirms Deusto Formation.
