Shazam for Mac

We continue with the applications that are becoming completely compatible with Apple Silicon and leave Rosetta aside, that application that acts as an intermediary to make applications compatible with the new processors that Apple assembles. The truth is that we are still talking about novelty when we refer to Apple Silicon, but honestly, two years have passed and it is no longer new. So the updates that come are welcome and we have to say, At last!.

When we talk about applications that are compatible with Apple Silicon without having to depend on other intermediary applications, it is always good news, but there is the bitter aftertaste of thinking that two years later, it is time for it to be updated. However, when the application that directly integrates with the processors of the Macs, it is from Apple itself, It feels more than surprise a little embarrassment.

Two years later, Shazam for Mac is updated and is made compatible with Apple Silicon directly. Therefore its use on Macs with M1 and M2 is now easier and the application is faster and more functional.

It could be considered that since Apple bought Shazam back in 2018, this may be the Biggest update of them all. It is true that it is an application that works very well and that it may be difficult to improve, but it will take two years…

It is not the only update that incorporates, in addition, now Shazam add an icon to the Mac menu bar which can be clicked to identify a song that is playing. The functionality is built into Siri so Mac users can access Shazam without having to install an app.
