Sonic dresses up as Santa Claus for Christmas, do you know how to get the new outfit?

Collaborations and Christmas outfits

sonic frontiers has reconfirmed that developer companies have lost that old fear of seeing their franchises mixed up. Unlike other times, users are already prepared to see a crossover with Monster Hunter (as has happened) without raising their hands to their heads. So aware of the enormous hook that these types of actions have, they have really begun to be exploited. With many alternatives to which more memorable.

Now, however, things go more for a small seasonal gift, related to the time of year in which we find ourselves, which is none other than Christmas. So SEGA, neither short nor lazy, has announced the arrival of a small downloadable content, completely free, called Holiday Cheer Suit which is nothing more than the transformation of the blue porcupine into a kind of Santa Claus.

This was announced by the Japanese on their official social networks, for all who have purchased sonic frontiers on any of the available platforms, which are PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

How did we get this suit?

The first thing to say is that this DLC with the Santa Claus suit is completely free and it won’t cost us anything to get hold of it, which is why SEGA has chosen to install it in all versions on a mandatory basis through a patch that you can now download. If you have automatic updates, you probably already have it available but if not, then you have to force the game to go look for the latest version available in the store digital.

sonic frontiers It arrived at the beginning of last November and, the truth is, it earned mixed opinions regarding its assessment. While the criticism highlighted its defects more than its virtues, fans preferred to keep everything that the classic-influenced game had and, above all, with that typical gameplay of the saga. That produced a huge gap between the ratings of one and the other that can be seen right now on Metacritic.

Be that as it may, and despite those sticks in the wheels of the specialized media, Continuity seems assured sonic for the next few years and, as we have already mentioned, many of the elements of frontiers they will be taken as the backbone of what the saga will offer users in the future.
