Sony WH-1000XM5: see you on May 12, 2022 for the official presentation

First, we notice that the accessory will offer a battery life of 30 hours, contrary to the 40 hours announced by several insiders. Alexa and Google Assistant will also be supported by the headphones, as indicated by the two logos on the box.

Sony reveals WH-1000XM5 presentation date

The question therefore remained as to when Sony intended to officially reveal the existence of the WH-1000XM5. It is now done, with the launch of a page dedicated to a new event, scheduled for May 12, 2022 at 4 p.m.. Still according to his information, the headset will launch for $399, which is $50 more than the WH-1000XM4. Moreover, he adds that the price of the previous model will remain the same, despite the release of its successor. Too bad for those who were hoping for a price drop with the arrival of Sony’s new generation of high-end headphones.
