As the wait for Spider-Man: No Way Home, out in 10 days in cinemas, the spider multiverse returns more colorful than ever with the first trailer of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part 1).
This is the first part of the highly anticipated sequel to Spider-Man: A new universe, the acclaimed animated film winner of the Oscar 2019 that first introduced the Spiderverso to the cinema.

In addition to the unexpected release of the trailer, visible right below, what is surprising is the fact that this is the first part of what appears to be an even larger project, with Sony having definitively embraced the idea of a sequel divided into two or even more parts. That a trilogy is being prepared just after the confirmation that there will be three more MCU films about Spider-Man?
The trailer starts where it left off Spider-Man: A New Universe with Miles Morales in his room receiving a visit from Gwen Stacy who appears through a portal, before the boy wearing his costume comes face to face with Spider. -Man 2099.
This is the official synopsis of the film:
The film will see Brooklyn’s friendly Spider-Man traverse the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy, forming a new team of Spider-heroes, to face a more powerful villain than anything they’ve ever met.
There are no further details about it, but it is likely that the animated film can adapt the 2014 Spider-Verse, a comic crossover that has seen the different Spider-Man and of course Spider-Gwen deal with Morlun.

When does Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse come out?
The other good news is that we already know the release date of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) which will debut in theaters on October 7, 2022, while the second part is scheduled for 2023.
