Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield “canceled” in the latest trailer?

Let’s face it, if Marvel will really bring the three cinematic Spider-Man to meet in Spider-Man: No Way Home we will certainly talk about one of the most epic cinecomics ever, while if this does not happen epic we will have a colossal blunder that we fans will have a hard time digesting.

However, the clues to the possible presence of Tobey Maguire And Andrew Garfield in the film by Jon Watts continue to reveal themselves, or at least to be found by the most attentive observers (those who always manage to connect all the dots in a nutshell), as happened in the latest trailer for No Way Home which landed online today.

The Spider-Man of Maguire and Garfield digitally removed from the movie trailer

Some frames of the promotional video seem to have gone through a digital manipulation aimed at erasing something (or someone) that, at the moment, should not be seen.

These are quite obvious tweaks, like that of the scene in which Spider-Man’s Tom Holland fights against Electro, L’Sand Man And Lizard, three of Spider-Man’s most formidable enemies. Just Lizard (aka Curtis “Curt” Connors) is suddenly hit by a kind of “ghost fist”, as you can see in the following video.

Also, towards the end of the trailer, when MJ is about to fall on deaf ears, with what appears to be a red arm suspended in midair, perhaps a remnant of a not perfectly completed digital erase.

In short, by now the clues on the simultaneous presence of the three Spider-Man multiply and to find out if this will really become reality, we will have to wait a little less than a month.

Spider-Man: No Way Home release date

Spider-Man: No Way Home will arrive on December 15, 2021, with Marvel who is keen to clarify that the film will be visible (for now) exclusively in cinemas.

The film, directed by Jon Watts and co-produced by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, sees a cast consisting of Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx And Tony Revolori, even if we are all anxiously waiting for other important names to officially join the acting crew (and we know very well which names we want to hear).
