Spider-Man: Tom Holland is unsure of his future as Spider-Man

Tom Holland has been Spider-Man of the MCU since he was introduced to the franchise in 2016, with Captain America: Civil War. The actor went on to star in the final two Avengers films and made three solo films, with the third set to hit theaters next December.

However, now that Spider-Man’s contract with Marvel has expired, and Holland is returning under Sony’s wing, it doesn’t seem to be just fans who are unsure what the actor’s future will be.

Tom Holland is uncertain about his future as Spider-Man

In a recent interview with Empire, Holland explained that he is uncertain about his future and has no idea what will happen to his Spider-Man:

“One more day of work on No Way Home, which will be a bittersweet day. I honestly don’t know. It’s the first time since I’ve been cast as Spider-Man that I don’t have a contract. And it’s… it’s really hard for me to talk about it because there are so many things I’d like to talk about, things that would help me embellish what I’m trying to explain. But I can’t because I would ruin the film ”.

While there is certainly the possibility of a twist in the third and final Spider-Man film made in collaboration with Marvel, which could possibly knock out Holland’s character (and not just the MCU), a more concrete possibility. is that the actor is instead kept in the dark about Spidey’s future due to too many spoilers revealed over the years.

To find out what will happen to Spider-Man, however, we will have to go to the cinema next December 17, when Spider-Man: No Way home will arrive in cinemas around the world.
