Spotify reveals the most listened to songs, artists and podcasts of 2021

In addition to access to our own personal summary, one more year Spotify has shared with us the trends of the last year, with a list that reveals the most listened to songs, artists and podcasts of 2021, inside and outside of Spain.

The most listened to Spotify in the world

Globally, there is no doubt that Bad Bunny is the favorite of Spotify users, since it already accumulates more than 9,100 million listeners this year. In second position is singer-songwriter Taylor Swift; third, for the first time in the ranking, the South Korean group BTS; in fourth place, rapper Drake, and in fifth place, Justin Bieber.

In the ranking of the most listened to songs of 2021 globally, the most reproduced is “drivers license”, by the young Olivia Rodrigo, who accumulates more than 1,100 million listeners only on this broadcast platform.
