For those who do not know, we tell you that an operating system with 64-bit architecture greatly improves RAM usage compared to a 32-bit one. Thanks to all this, the 64-bit operating system takes advantage of the 8 gigabytes of memory available in models like the Raspberry Pi 4. And it is that to date the 32-bit Raspberry Pi OS system used LPAE technology. Also known as the Large Physical Address Extension. With this it was possible to use up to 8 gigabytes of RAM in Raspberry Pi 4.
