Star Trek Discovery 4 has a release date (but no trailer)

Star Trek Discovery 4, the fourth season of the series focused on the crew led by the new captain Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) finally has one exit date (announced surprisingly without being accompanied by a trailer).

The release date of Star Trek Discovery 4

The stellar date to mark on the calendar is November 18, 2021, when the new episodes will debut on Paramount + and, a few hours later, they should also arrive on Netflix Italy.

An official synopsis of the new season has also landed online which, let’s face it, could not be more vague than this:

“The fourth season of Star Trek: Discovery finds Captain Burnham and the crew of the USS Discovery facing a threat unlike any they have ever encountered. With Federation and non-Federation worlds equally affected by the impact, they must face the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all. “

During the panel of the live streaming event organized for Star Trek Day (nerdy holiday celebrating the entire franchise), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), Blu del Barrio (Adira) and Ian Alexander (Gray Tal), as well as executive producer and showrunner Michelle Paradise. In the cast of the fourth season we also know that Doug Jones (Saru), Anthony Rapp (Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Sylvia Tilly) and David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker) will also be present with, presumably, also his cat.

To find out what this “threat unlike any other they have ever encountered” will be, we will have to wait until November 18th.
