Star Wars Jedi Survivor requirements, you will need 155 GB of free space

EA has confirmed the requirements for Star Wars Jedi Survivor, a third-person action game inspired by the universe created by George Lucas that It will only come to the current generation of consoles and PC. This means that it will not have a version for PS4 or Xbox One, and partly explains the increase in the minimum requirements that we are going to see below.

As a curious note, at EA they have listed the requirements based on AMD hardware and have indicated as “alternatives” a processor and graphics card from Intel and NVIDIA, but They have not been entirely fine with the equivalences. Do not worry, because as usual we are going to offer you a detailed analysis of the requirements of Star Wars Jedi Survivor and we are going to see the possible equivalence errors that exist.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Minimum Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit operating system.
  • Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i7-7700 processor (four cores and eight threads). The closest equivalent to Ryzen would be an Intel Core i7-6700, and the latter would be slightly more powerful.
  • 8 GB of RAM.
  • Graphics card Radeon RX 580 with 8 GB or GeForce GTX 1070 with 8 GB. For power, the closest equivalency to the Radeon would be a 6GB GeForce GTX 1060.
  • DirectX 12.
  • 155 GB of free space.

With this configuration the game it should work relatively well in 1080p with medium or high qualityAlthough in the end it all depends on the degree of optimization and the good work of the developers, that is evident. In any case, it seems that this level is going to become the standard of minimum requirements for games of the present generation.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Recommended Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit operating system.
  • Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-11600K processor (six cores and twelve threads).
  • 16GB of RAM.
  • Radeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card. There is also a serious equivalence error here, because the closest thing to the Radeon RX 6700 XT would be a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or a GeForce RTX 2080 Super.
  • DirectX 12.
  • 155 GB of free space.

This hardware should allow us play it smoothly in 1440p with maximum quality and a total fluidity, or in 4K reducing the level of graphic quality to be able to maintain a high rate of frames per second, although as I said before in the end this will also depend on optimization.

From what I have been seeing in the different games that no longer have a version for the old generation, it is clear to me that, right now, the recommended level of requirements it’s going to be stuck for quite some time on a 6 core 12 thread CPU with a good IPC, 16GB of RAM, an SSD and either a GeForce RTX 2070 Super or a Radeon RX 6600 XT. If your team meets or exceeds that setting, congratulations, you’ve got PC to see you through the transition to next-gen. This also fits with the information that we offered you at the time in this article.
