Steam Fall Sale Kicks Off Along With Steam 2021 Award Nominations

With the cold weather and Christmas just around the corner, and despite being in the middle of Black Friday, we couldn’t say goodbye to autumn in a better way than with the now classic Steam Autumn Sales (or Steam Autumn Sales), which in addition to a large assortment of games and offers that will reach up to a 90% discount, will come this year accompanied by the first vote and selection of the fan favorite games for the Steam Awards.

In line with the Fall Sale from previous years, most of the discounts seen in this promotion will be the same ones that will return next month in the Steam Winter Sale, the final store sale event of the year. While there will likely be more discounted games at that time, we can still find numerous discounted games during this promotion, so there is no reason not to make our purchases and start enjoying them now.

Nominees Steam Awards 2021

Steam Awards, vote now for your favorites

On the awards side, for the moment this selection will be intended exclusively for nominations, with a later phase in which the winners will be chosen.

Thus, we can now find all the categories available, with the ten recurring categories that include the Game of the year, best virtual reality game, best visual style, best soundtrack, most innovative game, and other less orthodox categories such as « better game than worse is given to you ».

In addition, and as every year, in order to encourage all Steam users to vote, Valve will offer some prizes and Unique profile badges for all who participate.

However, those interested in seeing which games are selected from the Steam award nominations, they will have to wait until the winter sales, the date on which the final community vote will begin to choose the winners.
