The Spanish multinational, Stratesys, the native digital hub between Europe and America, reinforces its commitment to young talent by incorporating 150 new graduates into its global workforce last year. Among these junior profiles hired, more than 75% are under the age of 27, and a great majority of them recently graduated.
The technology consultancy finalized last November the 4th edition of its ‘Stratesys Academy’, the ‘Young Talent’ program with which it offers new promotions an opportunity to start their professional career in the world of technological innovation, and which constitutes the main source of incorporation of young talent in the company.
This new edition of the initiative ‘Stratesys Academy’ It has been aimed at a more technical profile of candidates than in previous calls, and has been focused on the development of capacities, both in leading SW platforms in the market (Salesforce, SAP, OpenText), and in cutting-edge technologies in high demand in currently (Business Technology Platform, Java, Commerce Cloud, Business Analytics, Enterpise Information Management …). The criteria for selecting the profiles that have been part of this new promotion have responded, to a large extent, to the company’s objective of continuing to expand its team with experts in new digital realities such as Big Data, Hyperautomation, Artificial Intelligence, IoT or Extended Reality , among other.
After passing a previous process of analysis of candidacies, and later attending an intensive training program given for three weeks, the finally selected students have access to a first job with a permanent contract, accompanied by a personalized career plan and continuous training. In this way, among the new recruits there are numerous young recent graduates from other sectors and academic fields, who will have the opportunity at Stratesys to start a professional career in the world of technology.
With this initiative, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8 ‘Decent work and economic growth’), Stratesys has maintained its firm commitment during 2021 to the creation of quality employment in the youngest group, a particularly vulnerable segment in The work market.
Near the end of 2021, the multinational has already increased its human team so far this year by 20%, currently exceeding 1,200 professionals, distributed in its network of offices and expert centers located in Europe and America. This growth is framed in Stratesys’ ambitious strategic plan for 2021-2023, in which the firm commitment to attracting talent and creating employment takes on a leading role, anticipating reaching 1,500 employees in 2023, which represents an increase of 50% compared to the figure with which the year 2021 started.
