Nintendo has announced the large cast of actors who will voice the characters featured in the animated film dedicated to Super Mario Bros, in production at Universal Pictures and Illumination.
If the undisputed protagonist of the series will have the voice of Chris Pratt, the other characters will also be played by big-caliber actors like Charlie Day, Jack Black And Seth Rogen.

During the Nintendo Direct streaming event it was announced that Chris Pratt will voice Mario in the animated film made by Illumination and Universal Pictures.
From Guardian of the Galaxy to plumber the step is not so short, but having already lent his voice to Emmett, star of LEGO Movie, Pratt will have no problem stepping into the shoes of a new animated character.
In addition to him, a good part of the remaining cast of voices was unveiled, made up of Hollywood actors of some importance.

Among the actors who will lend their voices to the protagonists of the film we will find Charlie Day in the role of Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy like Princess Peach, Jack Black will be Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key will be Toad, Seth Rogen will be Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen will be Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek e Sebastian Maniscalco in Spike’s.

The film will be directed by Aaron Horvath And Michael Jelenic, who previously worked on the Teen Titans Go! and the film of the same name. The screenplay will be written by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2, Minions 2) and the film will be produced by Chris Meledandri by Illumination e Shigeru Miyamoto by Nintendo.
At the moment there are no details on the plot and the release of the film is scheduled for December 21, 2022.
