The firm Synology has presented the C2 Backup for Business and C2 Transfer for Business, two new solutions aimed at companies that, as their name suggests, have full integration in the Synology C2 cloud.
In general terms, C2 Backup for Business is a tool designed so that companies can make backup copies of your Windows devices and Microsoft 365 data easily, and directly, in the Synology C2 cloud. For its part, C2 Transfer for Business is designed to ensure that important files, and sensitive due to their content and importance, that are sent between teams, organizations and clients are protected and are delivered safely.

As we anticipate, C2 Backup for Business allows for cloud backups, and is compatible with a large number of operating systems: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2008 R2SP1, 2012, 2016 and 2019. It also makes it easy to protect essential Microsoft 365 services, including the Exchange mail service, which means that in the event of a crash and users need to access and retrieve this data, they will be able to do so.
Synology’s C2 Transfer for Business uses end-to-end encryption, user identity authentication, image watermark integration, link expiration dates to achieve that secure delivery we referred to. and configuration options that allow set download limits. It also offers a simple interface and numerous management tools, including not only file transfer, but also requests and licenses. It is available from 49.99 euros per month in its five-user model, although we can get it on sale for 499.99 euros if we buy an annual subscription.
